Parenting eBooks Available at the Abilene Public Library

Parents of young children can now access parenting eBooks through the Abilene Public Library (APL). Using funding provided by Smart Start of Dickinson County, USD 435’s Parents as Teachers (PAT) staff worked with the APL staff to make this option available.

“Results of the 2012 Mobile Media News Consumption Survey provides evidence indicating that U.S. adults are turning more and more to electronic devices as a method to access materials, so we feel fortunate to be able to make these resources available to the community,” said Meta West, PAT program supervisor.

Book titles include: 365 Games Smart Babies Play, 365 Games Toddlers Play; 365 Activities That Inspire Creativity; Active Baby, Healthy Brain; The American Academy of Pediatrics Guide to Toilet Training; The Art of Conscious Parenting;  The Attachment Parenting Book; Babies and Toddlers for Men; Baby Body Signs; The Baby Book; Baby‐Led Weaning;  The Baby-‐Led Weaning Cookbook; BabyTalk; The Baby Sleep Book; Best Food for Your Baby & Toddler; Best Start; The Big Book of Parenting Solutions; The Breastfeeding Book; Child of Mine; Ear Infections; Fathering Your Toddler; The Happiest Toddler on the Block; Love and Logic Magic For Early Childhood; My Child Is Sick!; The Shy Child; The Single Mother’s Guide to Raising Remarkable Boys; What Babies Want; What Every Child Needs; The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding; Your One-Year-Old; Your Two-Year-Old.
